Long Cove Lodge
is located right at the coast in Liscannor in a quiet area away from the major roads  with spectacular views over Liscannor Bay. It is half way between the Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch with its prestigous Golf Courses and the long sandy beach famous for swimming and surfing.Doolin with its traditional music pubs and the Aran Islands ferry is only a short car drive away,as is theBurren region with its unique flora, caves, historical monuments and walking trails

Liscannor
This small fishing village has a picturesque harbour, many shops, cafes and restaurants. Sights include a medieval church and the remains of a castle built by the O'Connors and stronghold of the O'Briens.
This ruin is just a few meters away and well visible from the house.
John B.Holland, inventor of the submarine, was born in Liscannor! A headstone was presented to the town by the US Navy and can be viewed at the harbour.

The world renowned Cliffs of Moher are only minutes away. With its breath-taking views once you visit you will see why it remains one of Ireland's most popular tourist attractions. Walk along the clifftop, visit the new visitor center or experience the cliffs from the sea on the boat which departs from the local pier at Liscannor on regular trips.

Lahinch
This is a very popular holiday resort and just 3 km from Liscannor. It is noted for its beach and even more for its championship links and 18-hole golf course. An indoor pool and aquarium is just beside the seaside promenade.

Doolin or 'Fisher Street' as it was known is a great fishing village just 15 Minutes away. It has long been associated with great Irish music sessions, and was home to a great traditional Irish whistle player, the late Micko Russell. A visit to the Aran Islands is an unforgetable trip and one that you cannot afford to miss. The islanders traditionally made their living from fishing. While the men were out fishing the women knitted the traditional 'Aran Ganseys'. Boats leave several times daily from Doolin Pier.
